These were taken at the Texas Burlesque Festival, which was INCREDIBLE. Austin is EASILY one of my favorite cities. I would like the opportunity to go back over and over and over and over again. My level of happy was unrealistically serial. Have you ever gone to a place and had adventure after adventure, and even when things weren’t going according to plan, it couldn’t have turned out more perfectly? Well, it was like that.

The first picture is with 2 very very talented sweet hearts; Shannon Doah (left) and Kitten DeVille (right). They headlined the night I performed. Seeing videos of these babes is nothing compared to the real thing. There’s just something about a live show that video just cannot capture.

The second photo is a small segment of my adventure hangout crew via Austin. The lady to the right of me performed on the same night I did. Super amazing girl with the same name as me! How freaking cool. Right? She also did some beautiful henna on me when we were at a blues show (which I hope to post a photo of pretty soon). The fancy man to the left of me is her man. He is a ridiculously talented musician. I was completely blown away by the talent that surrounded me in Austin. It was so SO inspiring. I can’t even put it into words. The only way I could really describe it would be to flail my arms in a particular manor that educes excitement. Like…a lot of excitement. Anyone that knows me should know what I’m talking about.
